Many professionals step away from the workforce for various reasons, including caregiving responsibilities. Our new six-month program provides resources and support, including a dedicated mentor, to help restart professionals in India transition back into thriving careers in technology.

Where you will make an impact

  • Design and Development: Participate in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable SaaS-based applications, services, and infrastructure components
  • Application and Platform Engineering: Contribute to front-end interfaces, back-end APIs, or infrastructure tooling based on team needs and individual strengths.
  • DevOps and Cloud Practices: Support CI/CD workflows, infrastructure as code, and cloud deployment processes using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Terraform.
  • Quality Code: Write maintainable, well-documented code with unit and functional tests that align with team standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Apply strong analytical and debugging skills using the 80/20 principle—dedicating 80% of effort to deeply analyzing, reproducing, and understanding issues, and 20% to implementing precise, well-considered solutions.
  • AI Integration: Leverage AI tools and platforms to enhance development workflows, automate routine tasks, and support intelligent features that improve the user experience in higher education.
  • Collaboration & Agile Delivery: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, sprints, and retrospectives, contributing to team velocity, meeting sprint commitments, and collaborating effectively across disciplines.

What You Will Bring

  • Experience: 0–3 years in software, cloud, or platform engineering (internships, academic projects, or personal work count).
  • Programming: Knowledge of one or more languages like JavaScript, C#, Java, Python, or Go, with a willingness to keep learning.
  • Front-End & Cloud: Familiarity with front-end tools (e.g., React, Node - HTML5), back-end APIs, or cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Software Fundamentals: Basic understanding of core programming concepts such as object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
  • APIs & Integrations: Exposure to REST or GraphQL APIs and interest in learning scalable integration practices.
  • Databases: Basic knowledge of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB), with an openness to learn cloud database services.
  • DevOps & Tools: Familiarity with Git, CI/CD basics, and common developer tools; interest in learning infrastructure-as-code concepts.
  • AI Tools: Curiosity about using AI-powered tools for coding, testing, or debugging.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working in a team, open to feedback, and eager to grow your skills.
  • Bonus Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM D365 or higher education systems is a plus but not required.
