Ellucian is seeking a Cloud Engineer to work with our clients. Higher education customers are transforming
to modern campuses while leveraging technology and solutions to enable student success. Today

Where you will make an impact

• Assisting the manager in addressing complex provisioning, deployment, configuration, and
  automation projects.
• Writing standard operating procedures and training our operations engineers to use and maintain
  the automation tools.
• Identify, analyze, and optimize cloud operations processes in collaboration with the Network,
  Platform, Database, and Applications teams for automation.
• Analyze changes in business requirements and update the existing documents, processes,
  methods, procedures, and tools to work with these changes.
• Proactive system management via monitoring, building, and developing automated remediation.
• Smooth collaboration amongst cross-functional peer teams to deliver optimal customer experience.
• Be an active participant in Root Cause Analysis, providing feedback, insights, & recommendations

What you will bring

• Cloud knowledge.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Ansible, Terraform, Python, Lambda, Jenkins, Bitbucket.
• 3-5 years’ experience working with web servers and web application development (Tomcat, Apache, IIS, Nginx).
• 3-5 years’ experience working with Postgres and/or SQL
• Monitoring experience (Elk, Datadog).
