Ellucian is seeking a curious and motivated Technical Intern to join our teams as we build scalable, cloud-based SaaS solutions that power the future of higher education.

Where You Will Make an Impact

• Design, build, and maintain automation bots using UiPath (primary focus)
• Assist in integrating UiPath workflows with AI applications and platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, internal AI gateways)
• Work with AWS services to support automation and AI workflows (e.g., IAM, Lambda, APIs, storage)
• Explore and prototype end-to-end automation + AI use cases, including:
• Connecting multiple tools into a single workflow
• Chat-based prompting interfaces for business users
• Support experimentation around expanding AI and automation capabilities for teams such as marketing, operations, and people teams
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and platform teams to understand enterprise-scale AI solutions
• Document solutions, workflows, and learnings clearly for broader reuse

What You Will Bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Exposure to AI/LLM-based applications (Claude, Bedrock, OpenAI, etc.)
• Experience integrating automation tools with AI or chat-based interfaces
• Understanding of how automation and AI can be applied to business and marketing use cases
• Basic scripting or programming experience (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
• Curiosity about agentic AI platforms and enterprise AI architectures
