About the Opportunity
Ellucian is currently looking to add a Advancement Consultant with experience working with any of our Advancement products (Banner Advancement, Colleague Advancement, Advance Web OR especially CRM Advance), to our team. As one of our senior professional services team members, you will be instrumental in consulting with our customers and delivering services that provide the quickest path to institutional success with training, onboarding, and deployment of CRM Advance processes with our higher education customers.
Higher education customers are transforming to modern campuses while leveraging technology and solutions to enable student success. In this mission-critical role, you will partner with our customers to help enable their advancement office, including the transformation to cloud/SAAS solutions and the successful adoption of these solutions.
Where you will make an impact
- Leading customers in their deployment of the CRM Advance product across all lines of business within a higher education advancement organization, with a focus on technical and data-related elements.
- Designing and developing solution strategy, and data migration strategy for customers
- Leveraging prescriptive delivery deployment approach during facilitations, configuration, data migration, user acceptance testing, and stabilization support for a CRM Advance implementation
- Collaborating with PS team members, R&D, ActionLine and Product Management to deliver customer quality
- Understanding the customer's business processes related to the solution and data mapping
- Being agile, flexible, and adaptable to an ever-changing technology and market demands
- Mentoring and sharing collective wisdom across team members
- Making independent decisions and taking action within established practices and procedures
- Willingness to travel for delivery of onsite client consultation services as needed
What you will bring
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- Experience using or consulting on Ellucian Advancement legacy solutions; Banner Advancement, Colleague Advancement, Advance Web, or CRM Advance
- Experience with ETL tools, OR data models of CRM Advance, and ideally one or more of the legacy advancement systems
- Implementation experience OR super user of one of the above-mentioned Ellucian software
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Experience working in a professional services/consulting services organization, providing end-to-end solutions throughout the system process life cycle
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Integration Services, or SQL Server Reporting Services a plus
- Experience working with REST APIs and API tools such as Bruno or Postman
- Experience with Ellucian Ethos Integration, Ellucian Experience, or Ellucian Ethos Data Connect is a plus
- Ability to read and write T-SQL code
- Experience developing and creating specifications for technical processes, such as report development
