Join Our Team as our new Director of Finance. The Role: As Camelback Ventures continues to grow its impact, we are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Director of Finance to strategically develop, maintain, and oversee the systems that support the financial health and long-term sustainability of the organization. As a hands-on financial expert, you will lead budget development and tracking and continually strengthen our core financial systems—spend management, contract execution, and business planning and budgeting. In addition to supervising the Controller, this role plays a strong supporting role in fundraising and strategic planning. The Person: You are a senior finance leader who is equally comfortable shaping strategy and ensuring the details get done. You bring calm, clarity, and structure to complex environments, and you understand that strong internal infrastructure is not separate from mission impact—it is what makes mission impact sustainable. You are a trusted advisor to executive leadership and a practical partner to staff. You can move from Board-level financial strategy to workflow design, from audit oversight to systems to staff supervision, without losing sight of the bigger picture. You lead with sound judgment, transparency, discretion, and care. You know how to build systems that are clear enough to support accountability and flexible enough to support people.
